I was just wondering whose silver tongue or golden pen is telling the tale we find ourselves in.

I prefer to subscribe to that whole, “everything happens for a reason” theory, mostly because the alternative is too disturbing to think about.

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.
Delicious Ambiguity.

There are so many fragile things, after all. People break so easily, and so do dreams and hearts.

I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion’.

She put her hand over her chest. The pain cut her in half, like a magician’s trick, except she knew she would never really be put back together.

And then I felt sad because I realized that once people are broken in certain ways, they can’t ever be fixed, and this is something nobody ever tells you when you are young and it never fails to surprise you as you grow older as you see the people in your life break one by one. You wonder when your turn is going to be, or if it’s already happened.
